A Multi-Generational Effort In Re-Use
This page is being slowly updated. It is our space to tell our story in our words.
In Canberra we take great notice of our effect on the environment. And as a community we have proudly hosted and pioneered Re-Use on an industrial scale. It has been a Great pleasure for me personally as well as my family to be involved in this sustainable initiative since its inception in 1988. Situted at the Resource Management Centre at Mugga Lane, we as Canberrans have identified a new stream of ‘waste management’, namely Re-Use! Its a very simple Idea, items that are no longer needed but aren’t rubbish, you house them, put a big carpark outside, and charge as little as possible to get them out the door! When you combine these elements you get what we call ‘Industrial Re-Use’. Most people are familiar with Recycling and we understand that it is a great way to minimise waste, Less people understand Re-Use. There is no label on a ‘Reusable’ Item, and Reusable items come in every shape and form. We have become the experts in Re-Use!
